Robyn's Kaffe Fassett Quilt

About 30 keen quilters spent the day with Kaffe Fassett designing amazing quilts on work boards, in an atmosphere of the glowing colour from Kaffe's spectacular fabrics.  Below are some photos from the day, which was intense, but so inspirational.

Dream  Designs CD packs

We have these in store, and Shirley & Robyn used the ‘Floral Beauties’ set PC8204 to produce the shoulder bag and lap quilt.  These are on display in store, and were sewn on the Bernina Artista 200 machine. The Latte Quilt

A group of sewers are working on their own versions of this quilt, coming in store once a month to check progress and start the next piece.  Kerrie Hay, Bernina National Sewing Promoter for Australia and New Zealand, sewed the original quilt on a Bernina Artista 180, then produced the book complete with CD. Check the 'Books and Magazines' page in the 'Product Categories' section for more details, and to order the book.

Dalco Easy Stitch Applique Kits
These are a new, exciting line for machine embroiderers.  Each kit has 5 designs, plus a disc, and all fabrics are included as ready cut pieces.  There is sufficient to make each design three times, and the fusing is already on the back of each piece. 
The example “Cats N’ Stained Glass” was sewn by Shirley and Robyn on the Bernina Artista 200 machine, but could also be sewn on any brand embroidery machine.  The disc has all formats.
